Eagle, Idaho is a beautiful place. It has a Boise River access, lots of trees, huge acreage properties, a charming downtown, and an excellent school system. Eagle has a friendly feel, a plethora of recreational options, and some of Idaho’s best restaurants. On Saturdays, you’ll see residents strolling the downtown as they shop at Saturday Market or enjoy breakfast at one of the city’s sidewalk cafes. Families can be seen hiking or biking along the Boise Greenbelt Trail or in any of the planned Eagle neighborhoods.
Eagle is also home to two golf courses. Eagle Hills Golf Course is located north of town. It has an eighteen hole course in the foothills of the Boise. The Eagle Hills Golf Club is proud to be a host of over 50 tournaments each year. Located south of Eagle, the Banbury Golf Course has a 6,890-yard, eighteen-hole course that sits beside the south channel of the Idaho River. It’s a favorite among both local residents and visitors. You will see Banburys appearing frequently in Golf Digest’ list of the best Idaho courses.
Community events are held throughout the year. The Eagle Fun Days Festival includes the World’s Largest Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed.
